Medical Education
The year 2004 marked the beginning of our “Frontiers in Cancer Research” lecture series held in collaboration with the University of California, Santa Barbara. This ongoing series has brought award-winning scientists such as Dr. Judah Folkman, Dr. Arnold Levine, and most recently Dr. James Thomson to our community to speak about their groundbreaking work.
The Cancer Center is committed to being a source of cancer information for our community, including both patients and healthcare professionals. Providing opportunities for continuing medical education regarding the latest updates on cancer treatments and methods, our education program brings a variety of speakers to our medical community. Many of these events are CME certified.
Please check back each month to view upcoming educational events.
